JasmineBayani.

Founder. Builder. Strategist. I'm interested in making things that quietly work — systems, tools, and brands that earn trust over time, then get out of the way.

Hi — I'm Jasmine. I build systems, tools, and brands, mostly for people who are capable and stretched thin. I made this site because I wanted somewhere on the internet that felt like me, not a pitch deck. So this is who I am and what I think about. If something here lands, reach out.

JB MIX ♪

I'm not one thing.
But in all things, I'm a builder.

I studied Cognitive Systems at UBC — a multi-disciplinary program spanning computer science, linguistics, philosophy, and psychology. It's built around one question: how do intelligent systems work, both natural and artificial? Perception, language, computation, cognition. The kind of degree that doesn't point at a single career; it points at a way of thinking. Those questions never left.

I started in corporate — structure, hierarchy, someone else's systems. Then I went out on my own, which taught me a different discipline: when there's no one to hand things off to, you figure out fast what actually needs to exist. Somewhere in that stretch I noticed a pattern. The businesses that struggled weren't short on ambition. They were short on structure they actually owned. That became the work.

I built BAD Systems around a methodology I was already living — Build, Automate, Delegate — and started working with solopreneurs and women-led teams who were capable but stretched thin. Then came The Audit, Hinata Digital, and a collaboration with Kaden at Grow Wild Agency. Now I work with a team — and that shift has changed how I think about everything.

Outside the work: I'm a Pisces, an ENFJ, born in the Year of the Rat. I write songs. I think about words more than is probably useful. Equal parts intuitive and methodical. Better in small rooms than large ones.

./thinking
i
substance over image
Depth over aesthetics. Work that holds up when the noise dies down. I'd rather build something real and quiet than something loud and hollow.
ii
discomfort is information
Overwhelm, resistance, fatigue — these are signals, not character flaws. I try to answer them with design instead of depletion.
iii
done with, not done for
The work that sticks is the work people understand and own. I'd rather sit alongside someone and build together than hand them something finished they can't maintain.
iv
sustainability over sprint
The goal was never just a scalable business. It was a life the business supports. Systems that hold. Pace that lasts.
v
technology should take care of people
Not capture them. Not consume them. The tools worth building quietly do their job, then hand your attention back.
vi
the question matters as much as the answer
I studied how minds work, how language shapes what we can imagine. I don't have all the answers — but asking the question keeps me honest about what I build and who it's actually for.

The brands I build each have a specific mandate. I run them under JRBx Ventures Inc., a federally incorporated holding company. None of them are accidental.

reading[]
Probably too many things at once. Nonfiction with ideas I can't stop thinking about — language, systems, how humans make decisions. Occasional fiction when I need to remember how to feel things slowly.
drinking[]
London fog, matcha latte, banana protein shake. Coffee when necessary. Tea when thoughtful.
working_with[]
A team now — and I love it. There's something about building alongside people who care that makes the work feel less like maintenance and more like momentum.
obsessed_with[]
Why some words last and others don't. What makes a name feel inevitable. The etymology of things I thought I already understood.
writing[]
Reflections, mostly — introspective, slow. Technology and attention, AI, what we're actually doing when we build things. On Medium, occasionally.
asking[]
What does it mean to do this well, quietly, over a long time?
